Qinghua (Candy) Yang is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Tobacco Center of Regulatory Science (TCORS) and the Annenberg School for Communication, as well as a senior fellow at the Penn Social Media and Health Innovation Lab. She received her Ph.D. in communication studies with a specialization in health communication from the University of Miami, and her master's with a specialization in communication and technology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her research focuses on the applications of new media and technology in health communication, such as online health information seeking and processing, and health behavior change interventions using social media.
