Molly Casey

Research Assistant

Molly Casey is a Research Assistant at the Penn Social Media and Health Innovation Lab. Molly received her B.S. in Biological Engineering with minors in Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 2013. She has three years of experience working as a Product Development Engineer for a medical device company that specializes in Advanced Drug Delivery Systems. She has recently decided to change careers and is in the process of preparing to apply to medical school in the upcoming year. She was also a Bedside Buddy Volunteer at CHOP from 2014 to 2016.

The Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation engages interdisciplinary teams to reimagine health care delivery for dramatically better value and patient outcomes.

The Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics (LDI) is Penn's center for research, policy analysis, and education in health systems. Its 200 Senior Fellows analyze the medical, economic, and social issues that influence how health care is organized, financed, managed, and delivered across the U.S.
