Julia Alber, PhD, MPH

Senior Fellow

Julia Alber is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Health Behavior Research at the University of Pennsylvania and a senior fellow at the Social Media and Health Innovation Lab.  Julia received her PhD with a specialization in health behavior from the University of Florida and holds a MPH from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. 

Julia’s research interests include the use of interactive, communication technologies for health education and health promotion. 

The Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation engages interdisciplinary teams to reimagine health care delivery for dramatically better value and patient outcomes.

The Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics (LDI) is Penn's center for research, policy analysis, and education in health systems. Its 200 Senior Fellows analyze the medical, economic, and social issues that influence how health care is organized, financed, managed, and delivered across the U.S.
