Before coming to the Social Media Lab, Jesse earned his MPH at Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health, where he concentrated in Community Health, with a specific research focus on the intersection between sexually transmitted infections and substance misuse and abuse. During his time at Drexel, he worked as both a research assistant in his department as well as a teaching assistant in both graduate and undergraduate public health courses. Prior to his MPH, Jesse graduated from Boston University, with a BA in Cell and Molecular Biology. During his time in Boston he worked as a research assistant at the National Emerging Infectious Disease Laboratories.
